Stuart is an associate in the Competition, Trade and Foreign Investment Group.
He has experience in competition law for five years, with close to one year’s experience in an in-house role at one of the UK’s largest retailers.
Stuart’s experience covers a broad range of competition law issues. He has:
- assisted clients with strategic merger notification advice and merger notifications across a broad range of jurisdictions, including the UK, the EEA, Brazil, Canada, Israel, Namibia, Japan, South Africa, Zambia and COMESA
- provided strategic advice on collaborations between competitors, information exchange, distribution structures and pricing by dominant companies
- assisted and advised clients in relation to market investigations, cartel investigations, exemption applications, damages claims and abuse of dominance complaints
Stuart’s competition law experience has covered a broad range of industries, including the retail, banking, energy (renewable, petroleum and gas), rail, shipping, chemical, pharmaceutical and agro-sciences industries.
