Practice notes

Geoff is a legal director in our Real Estate group. He specialises in development and regeneration work and has a particular expertise in the transport sector in relation to development over, adjacent to or near to operational infrastructure.

He has over 20 years of real estate experience. In this time Geoff has worked for national housebuilders and major public transport bodies.

Geoff advises a major London transport operator in relation to its disposal of surplus real estate for development, over station development, the protection of its infrastructure from third party development and the acquisition of new real estate interests above and below ground. Geoff has also spent 18 months on full time secondment to the in-house legal team of a major London transport operator.

Highlight’s of Geoff’s recent experience include working with a national developer in relation to securing access to a proposed rail freight terminal in the south of England and advising a hotel company on the development of a hotel in Glasgow, Scotland.
