Rachel joined Eversheds Sutherland as a Paralegal in the Employment team where she predominately dealt with employment tribunal claims. Having trained at Eversheds Sutherland, she qualified in 2015 and is now an Associate in our Cambridge office.

Rachel’s clients are largely in the financial services, energy, retail and transport sectors.

Rachel has dealt with many employment tribunal disputes, representing both public and private sector clients. Rachel deals with claims for unfair dismissal, race, sex, disability, religious and age discrimination. Rachel spends more than half her time dealing with such matters.

In addition, Rachel provides advice on non-contentious employment related matters, such as day-to-day employment queries, redundancy exercises and employment contract review. Rachel also delivers employment law training on a range of employment issues.

Since qualifying, Rachel has undertaken a secondment with a transport client, spending time with their in house legal team advising on employment related matters. As a trainee Rachel spent one seat on secondment to a large retail client.
