Holly is a Principal Associate in our banking and finance group in London. Holly specialises in projects and energy. She advises on a range of power, renewable energy and oil and gas matters in the UK and Africa. Holly has recently spent six months on secondment in Johannesburg.

Holly’s recent experience includes advising:

  • a lender in connection with the financing of the construction and operation of a wind farm in the UK.
  • various sponsors on a number of solar projects in the Benban area in Egypt, under the Round II Solar PV Feed-in Tariffs programme.
  • a consortium of sponsors in relation to a wind project under Round One of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s National Renewable Energy Programme.
  • developers on a coal-fired power project in Mpumalanga province, developed under South Africa’s Coal Baseload Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme.
  • the issuer on a project bond refinance of a European wind farm portfolio.
  • a PFI consortium in respect of a dispute with an NHS trust and services provider.
  • a UK ports authority in relation to a corporate restructure and bond issuance.
  • a sponsor in relation to the bid requirements under South Africa’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme.
  • a project company on the project financing for a 50 MW heavy fuel oil power plant in Ndola, Zambia and its expansion into a plant with an approximate capacity of 110 MW.
  • potential investors to an offshore gas project off the west coast of southern Africa.
  • the sponsor on the development and construction of a 44 MW electricity generation facility in Lüderitz, Namibia.
  • an investor on the acquisition of a power station in the UK and its conversion to a biomass plant.
