Sindhura is a Partner at Eversheds Sutherland in Paris where she heads the Banking & Finance department.

Sindhura specializes in project finance, asset finance and export finance. She is and speaks English, French, Hindi and Tamil fluently.

In the domain of asset finance, Sindhura represents banks and investors in connection with the financing of aircraft, railways, ships, satellites and other movable assets. These transactions include structured finance aspects and usually involve European and international export credit agencies. Sindhura also has extensive experience in lease financing and has been assisting a wide range of clients on acquisitions and sale & lease-back operations on behalf of owners and lessors.

During her career, Sindhura was seconded for one year (2014-2015) to the Johannesburg office of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and more recently to Proparco, a subsidiary of the Agence Française de Développement in Paris.

In the domain of project finance, Sindhura also has a wide range of experience, including major investments in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. She has notably significant experience in energy and infrastructure financings: roads, motorways, hospitals, railways, mining, etc. She’s been advising French and international sponsors and borrowers, as well as lenders such as French and foreign commercial banks and multilateral development banks. Given her two secondments, she has a strong grasp of projects involving development financial institutions, in particular the specific requirements of such institutions. She has also advised Islamic financial institutions on their project financings.

Sindhura is regularly involved in negotiating and drafting project financing documents and has a strong grasp of key risks related to project documents: PPP, PPA, EPC, O&M, interface agreements and direct agreements, etc.

Given her dual qualification in English and French law, her practice is strongly international. Based on her ability to work in various legal cultures and her capacity to adapt to different environments she can support clients on complex cross-border transactions.

She began her career with White and Case in the London and New York offices where she became Solicitor in 2010 and then joined the office of Paris where she was promoted to Counsel.

Dually qualified under English and French law

Graduated from the University of Nottingham and the Nottingham Law School
