Aleksander Szostak is a Business Lawyer in the M&A team at Eversheds Sutherland Poland.
He specializes in corporate law, M&A transactions, project management and international economic law.

- Co-author of articles on the blog of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution, the IBA journal Dispute Resolution International and in the Polish bar journal Palestra
- Member of the SHIELD research team - Study Hub for International Economic Law and Development of the law faculty of the University of Copenhagen. He is involved in the team's activities as PhD fellow (external researcher)
- Member of the research team for the project "ENERGIZE: Re-Shaping International Investment Law for the Green Transition", which examines how the EU's goal of carbon neutrality set for 2050, and the resulting transformation of the energy sector, can be supported by international investment law
- Master in Laws degree from the University of Amsterdam with specialization in international investment and trade law
- Graduate of Maastricht University, European Law School. During his studies, he participated in a student exchange program at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he improved his knowledge of business law and international law
- Currently preparing his doctoral dissertation on international investment law at the Koźmiński University Law School
