Vanya Ivanova is a Senior Legal Project Manager in the Company/Commercial Legal Project Management Team at Eversheds Sutherland, who is also a qualified lawyer in England and Wales.
Vanya joined the London Company/Commercial LPM team in November 2021 as a Senior Legal Project Manager.
Prior to joining the LPM team, Vanya was an Associate in the London Corporate group with over 4 years' experience as a corporate lawyer. She has experience in corporate transactional work including M&A, private equity, joint ventures, group reorganisations and general corporate governance matters, primarily acting for large corporates and multinationals.
Vanya has worked on a number of complex, domestic and international M&A projects and multi-jurisdictional reorganisations, involving liaising with external legal counsel and clients to ensure a smooth delivery of the transaction. Vanya has also been involved in developing project management precedents and initiatives to improve efficiency and service delivery to clients throughout the matter.
Vanya's experience includes:
- acting on Legal & General's first investment into the retirement housing market involving the establishment of Inspired Villages Group and more recently on L&G's £500m joint venture with NatWest Pension Trustee Limited to build a portfolio of retirement homes with a gross development value of roughly £4bn
- acting on a number of multi-jurisdictional reorganisations involving intra-group share and business asset transfers across 40 jurisdictions
- advising Baird Capital, the direct investment arm of Baird, on its investment in Aura Futures, a leading provider of workspace technology solutions to mid to large-size enterprises operating in over 60 countries
- acting for Livingbridge on its investment in Simply Conveyancing Property Lawyers, a leading provider of tech-enabled conveyancing services within the UK residential property market
