Refiloe offers multi-disciplinary legal services within the mining industry. This includes representing clients at investigations and inquiries conducted in terms of health and safety legislation.

In addition, she assists clients with the compilation and submission of various applications in terms of the legislation applicable to the regulatory aspects of the industry, as well as with the implementation and completion of transactional processes arising out of commercial mining agreements.

Refiloe has also represented clients in criminal prosecution cases, resulting from fatal accidents at the mines.

Refiloe's representative experience includes:

  • Representing clients in criminal prosecution cases, resulting from fatal accidents at the mines.
  • Assisted a client on a secondment basis, as a legal manager, during a structural,corporate transitional phase the company was undergoing.
  • Assisted a client with the completion of transaction processes arising out of a sale of shares agreement.
  • Assisted various clients with urgent court appearances resulting from community unrest.
