Practice notes

Helen is an Of Counsel in the asset management and regulatory team in Hong Kong. Her practice focuses on all aspects relating to the formation, maintenance and restructuring of offshore investment funds, including private equity funds, hedge funds and hybrid funds. Helen has advised asset managers, banks, state owned enterprises, professional trustees and fund administrators, as well as family offices and start-ups, across the Asia Pacific region in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Australia.

Before joining Eversheds, Helen practised Australian, BVI and Cayman Islands law working in international law firms and on secondment as in-house counsel with major financial institutions in Australia.

Helen is admitted to practice as a solicitor in New South Wales, Australia, and speaks fluent English and Mandarin. She obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (International Business) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales, Australia.
