Practice notes

Iris has been an associate in the Labour Law practice group at Eversheds Sutherland in Munich since 2007. She advises companies on all questions relating to individual and collective labour law as well as social insurance law. With regard to labour law, she focuses on advising her clients on all questions relating to termination rights, the structuring of contracts and of complex working time systems. Furthermore, she has special expertise in social insurance law, in particular in determining the social security status and conducting respective proceedings in all court instances. Due to her additional training as a business mediator (CVM), she has extensive experience in dealing with conflicts between employers and employees and the amicable settlement of disputes.

Iris’ recent experience includes:

  • Regular legal advice including representation before courts of one of the largest national glass manufacturers, waste management companies and flight passenger data processing companies
  • Drafting of new employment contract structures including various guidelines, e.g. drafting provisions on the use of a company car for a large consulting company and a well-known leasing company
  • Provision of regular legal advice to associations and horsemen/horsewomen in equestrian sports
  • Regular legal advice to several medium-sized agencies on the drafting of contracts with freelancers
