Practice notes

Christian Wensing is an Associate in our Düsseldorf office and a member of the Corporate/M&A practice group.

He is specialized in advising national and international investors and companies on all corporate law matters as well as on company transactions.

Christian furthermore advises clients on national and cross-border M&A transactions.

He is Member of the Scientific Association for German Business and Corporate Law (VGR).

Christian studied law at the University of Münster (WWU) and at the Queen Mary College of the University of London.

During the stages of his legal traineeship he worked for the German Federal Cartel Office, an international law firm and a group legal department of an German industrial company.

Before joining Eversheds Sutherland, Christian worked with an international operating German law firm in the area of Corporate/M&A as well as Litigation.

Christian's recent experience includes:

  • Advising Nuveen Real Estate on the sale of the Erlangen Arcaden shopping centre with approx. 30,000 m² sales area and 100 tenants to ECE.
  • Advising CEO and owner of saracus group on the sale of the group to an investment fund managed by private equity investor Maxburg Capital Partners.
  • Advising HBB Hanseatische Betreuungs- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft on joint venture with Henderson Park for the acquisition of the Rathaus Galerie shopping centre in Essen, Germany.
  • Advising BWK GmbH Unternehmensbeteiligungsgesellschaft on its investment in three companies of the Kreyer group.
  • Advising IT start-up on the establishment of a company and the participation of a minority shareholder.
