Practice notes

Simon is a Legal Director in Eversheds Sutherland’s Commercial and IT team and specialises in advising on major outsourcing contracts, complex commercial contracting, ICT projects and data privacy

Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Simon was a senior Legal Counsel at Rolls-Royce plc where he was lead lawyer for Rolls-Royce’s IT and Aerospace supply chain functions for nearly 6 years. Prior to that, Simon was a technology and IT lawyer at Browne Jacobson LLP for almost 13 years.

Selected examples of his recent experience include:

  • advising a major bank on its global facilities management arrangements, including in Asia Pacific;
  • negotiating an optimisation phase outsourcing deal for a multinational manufacturing client in relation to the design and maintenance of specialist business process software; and
  • advising a global manufacturing client on a 50 year joint venture for the supply of key components.
