Dr. Christine Wilhelm is a Counsel in our Munich office and member of the Employment and Labour Law practice group.

She focuses on providing advice to medium-sized companies and their executives in all employment and labour law matters and representing them in and out of court.

She regularly supports her clients in the preparation of employment and service contracts including the required supplementary agreements (bonus, gratification, company car agreements etc.).

The preparation and review of company agreements as well as the negotiation and enforcement of works constitution law matters form another component of her daily practice. In addition, Christine has many years of experience in leading negotiation strategies in challenging situations (addiction, bullying) and integration contexts. In this respect, she supports clients both in matters concerning individuals during the stages of mediation, relocation, warning notices and the termination of employment relationships, as well as during mass dismissals and transfers of business. In the area of litigation, Christine is familiar with judgement procedures (Urteilsverfahren) and order procedures (Beschlussverfahren) as well as procedures for interim legal protection.

Her recent experience includes:

  • Successful defence in a discrimination case involving a significant compensation claim based upon the assertion that a dismissal was allegedly based upon the individual's Scientology membership.
  • Advice to a medium-sized company during the implementation of a bonus scheme, preparation and wording of the required framework and target agreements.
  • Comprehensive revision of existing employment contracts and work instructions of a major catering business, taking into account the particularities of the catering industry ("mini job" contracts, short-term employment, student employee contracts, temporary employment)
  • Development and wording of a job sharing agreement for female executives as a "novelty" on the executive management level of a national consulting firm
  • Comprehensive advice and implementation of a plant closure of a catering business and the associated mass dismissal
  • Wording and review of all company agreements of a major medium-sized company, in particular revision of the company agreements regarding corporate integration management and flexitime.
  • One-day training sessions on works constitutional law for executives of a major medium-sized company
