Sasha is a Principal Associate in HRPG based in Cambridge and qualified in 2006. She joined Eversheds Sutherland in 2015 and has over 10 years' experience advising clients on employment law.
She was recognised as one of the firm's "next generation" lawyers in the Legal 500 2019 ratings and “garners praise for her work in life sciences, not-for-profit and education sectors” in Legal 500 2018. Before joining Eversheds Sutherland, she spent several years working in industry as in-house employment counsel for one of the UK’s largest retailers.
Sasha has broad sector experience and has a particular interest in the tech and life sciences sector, focusing on cross-border work.
Sasha is a versatile lawyer with strong client relationship management skills. She recently completed a five month secondment to a global technology client.
Recent instructions include advising a multi-national business on an internal restructuring and coordination of international advice across more than 10 jurisdictions. She also led on the restructure of the compliance function of a prestigious not for profit client, which included strategic advice on consultation with the union. Sasha has also assisted with advising another US client on the employment implications of a corporate acquisition across 6 jurisdictions in Europe and Asia.
Sasha has considerable experience of employment tribunal litigation and her contentious workload includes unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, contractual disputes, discrimination and executive terminations. She has advised on matters in the Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal.
She also sits on the Advisory Committee of a Cambridge based community interest company, Form the Future and supports their work in building links between local employers and schools.
