Léon Wolters is a Partner in the Employment and Labour Law practice group in our Hamburg office.
His area of advice covers all aspects of employment and labour law including advice in the area of service contracts of managing directors and board members. Over the years, Léon Wolters has developed outstanding expertise in the area of company restructurings, in particular regarding the negotiation of reconciliations of interests and social plans. The implementation of new remuneration structures as well as the representation of clients in courts also form part of his expertise.
Léon Wolters studied law at the Philipp University of Marburg, Germany. Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Léon Wolters worked for many years in the labour and employment practice group at Beiten Burkhardt in Munich.
Léon's recent experience includes:
- negotiation of a collective company agreement for a leading German private clinic
- negotiation of a reconciliation of interests and social plan of an industry-leading company to centralise customer services
- restructuring of a company portfolio in the area of e-commerce including staff reductions and transfers of business
- advising a company on averting strike action including labour court litigation with the trade union
- reorganisation of the remuneration structure of a company in the metal and electrical industry
