Practice notes

Richard is a Principal Associate in our Employment Group. He has experience of employment tribunal litigation and has a strong reputation with clients for his discrimination law expertise: Richard has been responsible for a variety of complex discrimination and whistleblowing cases over the last 14 years and continues to build this area of his practice. Richard qualified in 2004, and has been an employment litigator all his career. Richard’s contentious workload includes unfair dismissal and executive terminations.

In addition to his contentious practice, Richard is a specialist in our immigration team, in particular helping clients ensure that they comply with immigration rules and their licenced sponsor obligations. Richard is also a member of our International Employment Counsel team assisting clients on projects, reorganisations and legal issues spanning multiple jurisdictions. Richard has a depth of experience in advising on business and human rights issues including the Modern Slavery Act 2015. Richard advises on the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters and regularly speaks on pubic training courses and runs workshops with clients’ senior managers and executive teams
