Practice notes
Amy Worthington joined the Eversheds Licensing Team in 2016 as a paralegal and has quickly established herself as a core member of the team. Amy has recently completed her CILEX studies and is currently in the process of finalising her status as a Chartered Legal Executive.
Amy has experience in both liquor/entertainment and gaming licensing matters across both England/Wales and Scotland and is responsible for managing her own case load and managing key client relationships. Amy regularly advises clients under both the Licensing Act 2003, Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 and Gambling Act 2005 and acts for a range of well know clients in the retail, leisure, gambling and hospitality sectors.
In addition to advising clients specifically on their licensing applications and regulatory compliance, Amy provides support to Corporate and Real Estate colleagues in respect of licensing issues arising out of property and business acquisition and disposal transactions.
