Practice notes

Sean is an Associate in our London Tax team, focusing on international finance, funds and corporate tax matters.

Sean has assisted on a number of high profile international and domestic tax matters, including:

  • advising on a broad range of banking and finance transactions, with a focus on acquisition/real estate finance, structured finance and debt/equity market transactions
  • advising institutional investors, including pension funds, on the tax structuring of investments into various types of alternative investment funds (including debt/equity, global infrastructure and renewable energy) on a global basis
  • advising on various M&A and corporate transactions, including joint ventures and corporate restructuring/reorganisations
  • analysing on the VAT, SDLT and direct tax issues involved in direct real estate transactions, including development projects and acquisitions across a broad range of real estate assets classes
  • advising M&A and tax insurance underwriters on tax risks as part of W&I/R&W and specific tax risk policies
