Practice notes

Rhydian is a senior associate in our corporate commercial group based in the Doha office. He handles a broad range of corporate transactional and advisory work, most of which involve multi-jurisdictional issues across the MENA region and beyond.

His recent experience includes advising Barwa Bank on its proposed listing on the Qatar Stock Exchange; Qatar First Bank on its acquisition of a stake in the franchisee of two major global food and beverages brands; numerous international investors on establishing a presence in Qatar in compliance with the Foreign Investment Law; and a major GCC bank on the underlying cross-border corporate issues in its arbitration proceedings involving an African investment.

Rhydian enjoyed a broad training experience, spending time in our Nottingham and Cardiff offices alongside secondments in-house to Dollar Financial Group and our Doha office.

Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Rhydian gained an LLB degree from Cardiff University and a Distinction on the LPC at BPP University Law School.
