Zanda is Co-Head of Real Estate and Construction Practice. She is an expert in the matters related to the construction law and real estate purchase and lease. Her experience includes advising clients on construction documentation and contracts, providing assistance to clients in respect of disputes on construction process and real estate development. Zanda has gained in-depth experience working in the field of environment law and energy and renewable resources, advising clients on the development possibilities of various projects and resolving disputes both between business partners and with state institutions.

In 2014 Zanda obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in EU Competition Law from King’s College London.

Zanda is a representative of the Foreign Investors Council in Latvia at the Ministry of Economics working group on drafting amendments to the Construction Law (2017).


Recent experience

  • Development of the Riga spatial plan for 2019-2030.
  • Advising one of the largest businesses within the Freeport of Riga on the implementation of a large-scale investment project to establish a cargo terminal.
  • Providing legal assistance to an Estonian real estate developer in a complicated transaction involving the lease of the property and competition law matters.
