Practice notes

Luisa is a Principal Associate in our Litigation and Dispute Management group. She is experienced in high value and complex cross-border litigation in the English High Court and international arbitration (including under the ICC, LCIA, DIFC-LCIA, DIAC and UNCITRAL rules). Luisa has advised on a broad range of contractual, shareholder and joint venture disputes in a number of different jurisdictions and industry sectors including retail, financial institutions, construction and infrastructure, technology, diversified industrials and energy. She has also advised corporates and individuals in relation to regulatory investigations.

Luisa’s recent experience includes: successfully acting for an multinational retail supply chain management group against a Saudi Arabian customer in a multimillion dollar Dubai-seated DIFC-LCIA arbitration, and in parallel English High Court proceedings (which were settled favourably for our client); acting for one of the main UK energy suppliers in a regulatory investigation by Ofgem, which was the first case to progress to hearing under the 2017 Enforcement Guidelines; and representing an internationally-renowned football club in multimillion dollar ICC arbitration proceedings against one of its sponsors.

Prior to joining the firm, Luisa worked in Dubai for a number of years, where she moved after training and qualifying in an international firm in London.
