Reem Al-Saady is an Associate in the Employment, Labour and Pensions Group, with a focus on Employment Law.

Reem helps companies, many just like yours, navigate their employment law difficulties with timely and receptive advice. She is open to assisting with all day-to-day queries as well as more detailed and complex advice.

Her coverage is broad and includes advice on employee rights in the workplace, immigration, cross-border matters, termination and settlement (including advice on unfair dismissal and discrimination risks) and, assisting with both civil court and tribunal litigation.

Reem trained with Eversheds Sutherland from 2019 and qualified as an Employment Associate in 2021. Whether you are a junior HR member or an experienced executive, Reem can advise you on all aspects of employment law. Her experience includes:

  • Advising a technology start-up on two executive disputes simultaneously – this involved the negotiation and exit of a CFO while concurrently defending the client in High Court proceedings on the issue of directors’ duties and breaches.
  • Managing and facilitating cross-border projects to uniformly implement new hybrid working arrangements across all of the client’s global branches.
  • Advising on mandatory vaccinations for clients in the education and health sector health, which involved a quick turn-around of advice on the implication of the new mandates to clients’ large workforces.
  • Providing holistic Covid-19 advice, including: practical and contractual considerations on hybrid working and how to align a company’s contracts and policies to meet its business objectives.
  • Assisting a client on their complex holiday pay arrangements with union involvement and analysis of overtime for shift workers.
  • Advising on how to align client’s desired business strategy and culture through the bespoke drafting of contracts and policies.
  • Experience defending Employment Tribunal claims against unfair dismissal, discrimination and constructive dismissal allegations.

Professional Activities

Reem is a member of Eversheds Sutherland’s Verve network, a network aimed at increasing visibility and support for the BAME community. Reem has also assisted on multiple pro bono projects.
