Pia is a Senior Associate in the Human Resources Practice Group at Eversheds Sutherland in Leeds specialising in Employment Law and Business Immigration. She has experience of employment tribunal litigation and her contentious workload includes unfair dismissal, whistleblowing and discrimination claims. She has also dealt with breach of contract claims in the Employment Tribunal.

In addition to her contentious practice, Pia also gives advice in relation to non-contentious matters such as issues relating to proposals to change terms and conditions of employment, redundancy consultation, absence/performance management, settlement agreements, policy review exercises, drafting contractual terms and IR35. Pia also manages international labor law projects, with experience of dealing with cross-jurisdictional projects involving over 40 jurisdictions.

Pia regularly provides immigration advice to clients including; prevention of illegal working, applications for leave to remain in the UK under the Points Based System; and undertaking audits of all areas of compliance with sponsor obligations.
