Claire is a senior associate (New Zealand qualified) in our construction and engineering team advising in transactional construction work and project advisory services.
Claire has experience working across a breadth of sectors including clean energy (solar, battery storage, on-shore wind and energy from waste projects), data centres and built environment.
Claire has extensive experience negotiating and drafting construction and engineering contracts and all ancillary documents based on industry standard forms and bespoke agreements.
Claire’s recent experience includes advising:
- an investment management business on the construction aspects of the 100MWp acquisition of 2 pre-commissioned solar PV assets in the UK;
- a Canadian investment fund on the preparation and negotiation of EPC and long term services agreements for 4 new battery storage projects in the UK;
- an investment management company on the drafting and negotiating of solar O&M agreements for 25 operational projects across 2 portfolios;
- an American social media and technology company on the construction aspects of its European offices (including Brussels, Zurich and Paris) and its fit-out of 611,000 sq feet of office space in King’s Cross, London; and
- a developer in relation to their next mixed use development scheme on the Southbank which forms part of the Shard Quarter regeneration

- LLB (Hons) / BA with double Major in History and Political Studies, University of Auckland, 2009 – 2013
