Norman is a partner of the Hong Kong office of Eversheds Sutherland. He specialises in equity capital markets, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. He also has a focus on financial services, advising funds and asset management clients on regulatory issues, and has extensive experience in general commercial work. He is admitted to practice as a solicitor in Hong Kong, England and Wales and New South Wales in Australia, and speaks fluent English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).

Norman obtained Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales, Australia.

Norman’s recent experience includes advising:

  • BOCI (Asia) Limited as the sole sponsor and sole global coordinator in connection with the listing of IVD Medical Holding Limited on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (“HKSE”) raising approximately HK1 billion

  • BOCOM International (Asia) Limited as the sole sponsor and sole global coordinator in connection with the listing of Sichuan Energy Investment Development Co., Ltd. on HKSE Limited raising approximately HK480 million

  • Watts International Maritime Engineering Limited on its listing on HKSE raising up to HK$250 million

  • China Cinda (HK) Asset Management Co., Ltd on its indirect investment in a WFOE to acquire a piece of land in the PRC

  • Nomura International (Hong Kong) Limited as sole sponsor and Nomura International (Hong Kong) Limited as sole global coordinator in connection with the listing of Nissin Foods Company Limited on HKSE raising approximately HK$950 million

  • Precision Tsugami (China) Corporation Limited on its listing on HKSE raising up to HK$500 million (sponsored by Halcyon Capital Limited)

  • BGMC International Limited in connection with its listing on HKSE raising approximately HK$400 million (sponsored by Fortune Financial Capital Limited)

  • New World Department Store China Limited in respect of its privatisation by way of a voluntary conditional cash offer in the amount of approximately HK$930 million

  • NXP B.V. on the sale of 27.47% of the total issued share capital of Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation Limited
