John Kerin is a senior associate solicitor in the Real Estate Group, he is also the head of the New Homes Team at Eversheds Sutherland.

John has extensive experience in all aspects of residential conveyancing and in particular, multi-unit residential developments. He acts for some of the largest developers in Ireland in the volume sales of residential units across the country to include individual unit sales and the bulk sale of private rented sector (PRS) and social housing units.

John will help you with all aspects of setting up your residential development to include site assembly, incorporation of management companies and the drafting of all documents required for the sale of units within the development. John also has a great deal of practical experience in the MUDs legislation and will ensure that your development is fully compliant at all times. Upon the completion of the set-up of the development, John and his team will work with you closely to ensure that all unit sales are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

John's recent client experience includes:

  • advising a leading Irish developemnt company in the sale a portfolio of social housing units to an approved housing body (AHB).
  • acting for a US investment fund in the bulk sale of 115 residential units to a German investor.
  • acting for the firm's developer clients in the sale of a number of crèche units across Leinster.
