Adam is a senior associate in our pensions team, based in Leeds. He trained with Eversheds and qualified into the pensions team in 2010.

Adam advises on the structure and drafting of all forms of occupational pension schemes, projects to update and consolidate scheme rules, the cessation of future accrual and member communications. He also advises on all employer/trustee relationship issues, including the legal aspects of implementing investment strategies and decisions, scheme funding/valuations, regulatory compliance and scheme change.

Adam's recent experience includes: advising a utility provider on redesigning its pension scheme, advising on the merger of a major retailer’s two pension schemes to create a scheme worth over £1bn and advising the trustees of a £1bn scheme in relation to its valuation following proactive engagement by the Pensions Regulator.

Adam has written various articles for industry publications and is an Associate Member of the Association of Pension Lawyers. Adam is secretary to the Pension and Lifetime Savings Association Northern Counties Group.

Adam is recognised in Chambers 2017 as an associate to watch and is described by clients as "very professional, helpful and knowledgeable."
