Niall is an associate in our Real Estate team.

He has significant experience in all areas of commercial property law, including title reviews, planning and environmental law; commercial leasing from both landlord and tenant perspective; acquisition, management and disposal of sites in Northern Ireland and England and Wales; development of property assets; advising on security of tenure issues for commercial properties; providing real estate support on corporate and financing transactions; providing advice on the growing application of Electronic Communications Code issues in Northern Ireland; and providing advice on common land law issues in Northern Ireland, including adverse possession applications.

Niall’s extensive experience includes;

• Advising on the acquisition and development of Design and Build sites across Northern Ireland for the largest social housing provider in the market.

• Advising an American multinational pizza restaurant chain on the acquisition and management of their Northern Irish real estate portfolio along with corporate real estate matters arising with franchisees.

• Advising Belfast-based property company on the real estate elements of a financing project involving title certification of 100+ residential properties across Northern Ireland. 

• Advising a retail company on the management of their Northern Irish real estate portfolio, including lease re-gears and security of tenure issues.

• Providing support to financial institution on UK wide real estate matters, primarily involving the certification of title for financing transactions.

• Advising a British multinational universal bank on the real estate aspects of a security package granted to a substantial Northern Ireland based assisted living provider, including the certification of title of seven developed assets and one development site.

• Providing real estate advice to an Investment company on the application of the Electronic Communications Code in Northern Ireland to more than 20 Northern Irish telecommunications sites.

• Advising a clothing company on the acquisition and management of their Northern Irish real estate portfolio, including the drafting and agreement of licences to occupy and agreements for lease. 

• Assisting an investment and development property company on the acquisition of the prominent Danesfort complex in south Belfast.

• Advising a multinational technology corporation on multiple Northern Irish property transactions, including a leasehold assignment and an agreement for serviced office accommodation.
