He specializes in advising clients on all aspects of corporate restructuring, termination rights and works constitution law. In addition, he regularly provides legal advice to executives. Dirk has special expertise and profound experience in handling disagreements and the relationship between employers and works councils. In this context, he regularly negotiates works agreements and advises employers in conciliation committee proceedings. At the interface with social law, Dirk has been advising on the use of external staff and bogus self- employment for years.
Dirk is Head of Employment Law Litigation at Eversheds Sutherland in Germany and regularly participates in proceedings before German labour courts. In addition, he holds in-house training sessions for companies of all sizes on various aspects of employment and labour law and works constitution law. Due to his profound expertise regarding training sessions, Dirk is furthermore a lecturer at Fresenius University in Munich.
In the field of sports law, Dirk has gathered a plethora of contacts and he has comprehensive know-how when it comes to player recruitments, disputes in sports labour law, disputes between athletes, clubs and associations as well as the drafting of articles of association. Moreover, Dirk advises numerous clubs on the preparation of general meetings.
