Practice notes

Alice is an Associate in our Dispute Resolution and Litigation Department. Her focus area is the strategic management of Corporate Claims in the Healthcare, Retail and Hospitality Sectors and has particular expertise in personal injury claims in the defense of employer liability, public liability, and medical malpractice claims.

Alice has 5+ years experience in the area of personal injuries litigation and has represented both Plaintiff and Defense in respect of personal injury claims, catastrophic injury claims and personal injury litigation management through the PIAB process through to resolution or trial.

Alice advises Irish Companies and their insurers and brokers in respect of their corporate claims. She works alongside Irish and international brokers, intermediaries, insurers and reinsurers advising on risk and crisis management, governance and strategy.

For the past 4 years Alice has particular experience in representing defendants in employer liability, public liability and medical negligence actions. She manages a large portfolio of claims assessing risk, managing investigations and delivering on the agreed client strategy to conclusion.

Recent experience includes;

• Represented a Private Hospital defending High Court fatal injury and nervous shock claims, managing Inter-defendant negotiations, all party Mediations and Court Ruling
