Charlotte is an Associate in the Environment, Health and Safety team, specialising in corporate criminal defence work and advising on regulatory compliance.

Charlotte has a particular specialism in health and safety, fire safety and contentious food safety advice. She has represented both individuals and companies at every stage of the court process and has dealt with a variety of regulators including the HSE and local authorities. Charlotte advises across a range of sectors but predominantly focusses on the Diversified and Industrial, Education and Consumer sectors.

Her recent experience includes: undertaking a 12 month secondment, acting as a member of the client's in house legal team, representing a very large food business in respect of a novel prosecution brought by a local authority following allegations of the client spreading an infectious disease and dealing with HSE investigations into alleged health and safety failings following workplace incidents. Charlotte has also represented a niche property management company and an independent school in respect of prosecutions brought by the fire authority.

Charlotte delivers training on a variety of topics including incident investigations, directors responsibilities and driving for work. She also writes articles for specialist online publications.
