Kate is a Senior Associate in our Real Estate Department.

She has expertise in all aspects of conveyancing. Kate has acted for several high profile developers in relation to setting up mixed use schemes, advised on management structures, MUD Act compliance, Part V Compliance, retention of unsold units and taking in charge post completion.

Kate has advised on complex title issues including site assembly, deeds of rectification, applications to the County Registrar pursuant to the Landlord and Tenant Ground Rents Legislation and also pursuant to the provisions of the Trustee Act 1893. She has also acted for institutional investors in relation to the acquisition of bulk units and NAMA in relation to the acquisition of partially complete units in unfinished housing estates throughout Ireland and the leaseback of the units to approved housing bodies. Kate has acted for high net worth individuals in relation to the acquisition of properties via pension funds and in relation to the tax efficient transfer of assets.

Her recent experience inclides:

  • Advising developers, institutional investors and private clients on all aspects of Residential Tenancy Legislation most notably for over holding and enforcement of Determination orders.
  • Advising a real estate developer in Dublin on the preparation of lease reports for several properties, dealing with complex title, planning and management queries and preparation of Declarations of Identity.
