Ekaterina is a principal associate in our Moscow office, specializing in labour law, intellectual property, and corporate law.
Ekaterina has broad experience in data protection including trade secrecy regulations. She recently audited compliance of two international pharma companies’ activity with Personal Data legislation followed by supervising on bringing their activities in line with personal Data Protection legislation.
She provides support of investment projects associated with various IP objects. For example, she participated in several venture investment projects initiated by one of the Russian largest investment funds related to venture investments in software developer.
She advises both national and international clients in relation to various agreements including franchising, assignment, license, agreements on technology transfer, distributor agreements, intragroup agreements. In particular, she advised international retailer on franchising agreement with Russian partner, participated in negotiations with Russian partner; drafted full scale intragroup agreements related to IP&IT for multinational food company and leading distributor of a wide range of industrial raw materials.
Ekaterina also helps the clients to draft and implement internal IP&IT policies and develop IP protection strategy. She also provides consultations on advertisement, marketing and competition law. For example, she advised in complex unfair competition case to one of the world leaders in the production of elevators and escalators. Ekaterina has particular experience of advising to pharma companies on their advertisement and marketing activities.
Ekaterina advises international and domestic clients on various aspects of employment law. She has significant experience in planning and performing HR audits and implementing corrective measures. She has advised clients on the development of incentive schemes for top managers. Ekaterina‘s experience also includes advising clients on dismissal and liability issues.
