Practice notes

Victoria is a Chartered Legal Executive in our FSDI group in Birmingham. She specialises in contentious complex claims acting for lenders as both claimant and defendant in various disputes ranging from professional negligence and/or breach of trust claims; high value fraud claims and obtaining, where necessary, urgent injunctions; defended possession claims (to include allegations of forgery and/or equitable charges); defended unsecured debts; and consumer finance disputes.

Victoria has worked within the banking and finance sector for over 14 years, and her recent experience includes completing a 12-month secondment with HSBC Bank plc where she worked with the litigation team within the commercial banking unit to manage and run cases, and advised on various disputes and regulatory issues.

Victoria has a keen focus on consumer finance litigation and has advised and acted for a number of lenders in disputes arising from the alleged mis-sale of payment protection insurance, and claims arising from alleged breach of contract and/or misrepresentation. She also manages a portfolio of complex commercial litigation matters for HSBC.
