Foo Siew Fong heads the Family and Matrimonial Law Group. She deals with all aspects of family and matrimonial law in addition to handling preventive issues at the beginning of a relationship, e.g. the preparation of pre-nuptial agreements.

The team has been awarded “Matrimonial Law Firm of the Year” at ALB SE Asia Law Awards 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. Siew Fong is listed as a preeminent lawyer in the Doyles Guide for Singapore Family & Divorce from 2016- 2020. In 2011, the Family and Juvenile Justice Division awarded her the Outstanding Volunteer of the Year in the Advocate and Solicitor Category.

Siew Fong was the President of the Singapore Association of Women's Lawyers (SAWL) from 2001 to 2009 and is now the honorary advisor to SAWL as well as the Chairman of SAWL Scholarship Fund. She is the General Editor of “Law and Practice of Family Law in Singapore” a Sweet and Maxwell publication 2016 and also contributed the chapter on “Jurisdiction of the Family Court: Divorce and Dissolution”.

Siew Fong is a member of the Committee by the Chief Justice under Section 139 (1) of the Women's Charter. As well as being a South East CDC member for the past 12 years, she is also a Deputy Registrar/Licensed Solemniser by the Registry of Marriages.

She is also a member of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, membership of which is exclusive to family lawyers with experience in international disputes relating to maintenance, division of assets and children's issues.

In addition to being an accredited Singapore Mediation Centre mediator in family law, Siew Fong, a pioneer trained in CFP, also sits on the panel of the Singapore Mediation Centre’s Collaborative Family Practice (“CFP”) service, which is offered to help resolve family disputes outside of the courtroom.

Siew Fong's commitment to the community sees her as a member of the Citizenship Committee of Inquiry under the Ministry of Home Affairs. She is also a member of the executive committee of The Spastic Children's Association of Singapore, an organization that provides medical treatment and therapy for children with cerebral palsy, as well as vocational training and gainful employment through its school. She was also recently awarded the Public Service Medal, a medal awarded to a person who has rendered commendable public service in Singapore.

Siew Fong remains committed to the progress of the legal community in Singapore. She has been appointed to participate in the Committee for Continuing Professional Development Accreditation, by the Singapore Institute of Legal Education to set progressive benchmarks for practitioners in the local legal landscape.

Siew Fong was called to the Singapore Bar in 1991.
