Suzanna regularly assists with advertising and promotional / marketing issues for clients, including advising on ASA matters and the CAP and BCAP Codes, as well as on the acceptability of client’s new promotions and campaigns based on the same. Suzanna’s recent experience includes (i) rebutting an ASA complaint and substantiating a luxury hair care client’s advertising claims, and (ii) advising a household cinema name in relation to ASA matters.

Aside from the extensive experience gained at Eversheds Sutherland, prior to joining the firm, Suzanna worked as a trainee Trade Mark Attorney at Boult Wade Tennant. In this role, Suzanna undertook a wide range of portfolio management tasks including filing UK, EU and International trade mark applications, drafting submissions to the UK and EU IPOs and conducting full-clearance search reports for clients. Suzanna remains passionate about trade mark prosecution and formalities in her current role.

Suzanna has completed the Post-Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice at the University of Oxford. She completed her undergraduate Law degree at the University of Southampton, where Eleonora Rosati (of the well-known IP blog ‘IPKAT’) taught Intellectual Property Law electives. Suzanna’s professional examinations were completed with distinction, at BPP Law School in Holborn.
