Lars is a certified specialist in labour and employment law and works as a Counsel in the Labour and Employment Law practice group of Eversheds Sutherland in Munich.

He advises and represents national and international companies in all areas of individual and collective labour law and social security law, both in and out of court.

He specialises in advising companies with regard to restructuring and re-organisational measures, termination law as well as co-determination issues. In addition, he regularly advises on questions of employee leasing/personnel placement to third parties and secondments as well as matters under social security law, in particular proceedings regarding ostensible self-employment and the determination of the social security status. Lars furthermore advises on questions and the implementation of employee data protection.

Lars von Scheven studied law in Munich and completed his legal traineeship at Munich Higher Regional Court. Lars was admitted as a certified specialist in labour and employment law in February 2013. Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, he worked for a renowned law, tax and auditing firm for more than six years and for a Munich-based law firm specialising in labour and employment law for more than three years.

Lars' recent experience includes:

  • Representing a leading company in the logistics sector before regional labour courts
  • Advising medium-sized companies in the infrastructure and energy supply sectors regarding group restructurings
  • Advising temporary employment agencies regarding the lawful implementation of the requirements pursuant to the German Act on the Supply of Temporary Workers (Arbeitnehmerüberlassungsgesetz, AÜG)
  • Representing clients vis-à-vis the Federal Employment Agency in and out of court
  • Advising and representing medium-sized companies in the automotive sector and cleaning business regarding questions of false self-employment
  • Advising and representing minority shareholder managing directors respectively companies with the aim of an exemption from social insurance
  • Advising and representing municipalities, administrative districts and the federal government regarding labour and employment law
