Practice notes

Veronika is an associate at Eversheds Sutherland in Munich and a member of the Human Resources practice group.

She advises and represents national and international companies in all areas of individual and collective labour law and social security law, both in and out of court.

Veronika inter alia specialises in employee data protection law. She advises clients on general matters and the implementation of the employee data protection law as well as regarding the upcoming changes due to the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

As a member of our Industrial Relations team, Veronika advises within the framework of conflicts between companies and works councils or trade unions as well as in case of changes to collective bargaining agreements.

She advises companies with regard to restructuring and reorganisation measures, termination law as well as co-determination issues. In addition, she regularly advises on questions of employee leasing/personnel placement to third parties and secondments as well as matters under social security law, in particular proceedings regarding ostensible self-employment and the determination of the social security status.

Veronika studied law with a focus on employment/labour and social law at Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich. She completed her legal traineeship in the district of Munich Higher Regional Court in the course of which she already worked for Eversheds Sutherland in the Corporate practice group and Litigation and Dispute Management practice group. Veronika completed her elective stage at Eversheds Sutherland Advokatbyrå in Stockholm, Sweden, in the areas of Corporate and Data Protection.
