Michał Wojciechowski is an attorney-at-law heading the Public Contracts practice.

He specializes in public procurement law. He has over 13 years of experience in providing legal advice to businesses on matters relating to contracts in the investment process.

He represents clients before the National Appeals Chamber and common courts, as well as advises on the implementation stage of a contract concluded as a result of a public procurement procedure.

Michał has advised on significant investments in road and rail infrastructure. He supported companies from the medical sector in tender proceedings. He has extensive practice in public-private partnership (PPP) projects. He also represented clients in defence and security procurement. He holds a security clearance for access to classified information.

Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, he worked at leading Polish and international law firms.

 

  • Advising a local authority on one of the largest tenders in Europe for the purchase of tramway stock.
  • Advising a leading logistics company on contracts for transport for the Polish army.
  • Advising an international consortium in a tender for the modernization and electrification of a railway line in north-eastern Poland.
  • Advising a company from an international construction group in the course of negotiations with a public entity in a tender for works at a football stadium being the arena of the 3rd European Games.
  • Advising a Polish company from the electro mobility industry in a tender for the purchase of infrastructure for charging zero-emission rolling stock.
  • Advising a company on a series of tenders to act as Contract Engineer for geothermal projects.
  • Advising a pharmaceutical company on a tender for the purchase of vaccines carried out as part of the National Vaccination Programme by the Department of Public Procurement at the Ministry of Health.
  • Advising the Ministry of Development and the City of Kraków on a public-private partnership project entitled "Construction of the KST Tram Line, stage IV".
  • Author of more than 40 publications in the field of public procurement law, including co-writing the commentary to Directive 2014/24/EU published by C.H. Beck in October 2015.
  • Recommended for many years by prestigious legal rankings such as Chambers Europe and Legal 500.
