Mark is a Partner in our Corporate group and the Office Location Head for the Company Commercial Practice Group in Nottingham.

Mark specialises in advisory work to boards upon financial problems, Corporate Recovery, Corporate Restructuring, Directors duties advice and reviewing and enforcing security for Lenders acting for Insolvency Practitioners, LPA Receivers and provision protection of Directors in complex corporate restructuring. Mark is also the Global Head of our Personal Insolvency practice.

Mark has led and acted in most of the high profile Restructuring and Insolvency assignments in the East Midlands over the last 10 years. His recent experience includes: representing 98% of Merchant Acquiring Industry and household named credit card companies (£600 billion plus) in a government consultation to maintain card payment transactions to risk industries; acting on the Administration of MG Rover Group Limited for PWC; acting for Deloitte Administrators in the administration of Mark Group Limited; acting for PwC administrators in the Administration of W R Refrigeration Limited; acting for Deloitte administrators is the administration of RJ Herbert Ltd; acting on the acquisition of the business and assets of Outsourcery out of administration for GCI; acting for Duff & Phelps Administrators on the retail administration of Feather & Black and Multiyork Limited and acting for board members/directors to protect them personally in a multitude of solvent restructuring processes and turnaround positions.

The team occupies tier 1 status in both Legal directories for Restructuring and Insolvency work.
